Bitumen Impregnated Joint Filler Board

Product Features

Corroboard BI20 is an economical, semi-rigid, bitumen impregnated board, designed as a joint filler material particularly for expansion joints in concrete that also provides support and accurate depth measurement for subsequent joint sealant materials.

Corroboard BI20 has a minimum bitumen content of 20% to give moisture and damp resistance.

Corroboard BI20 do not contain asbestos, chromated copper arsenate and lead.

Complies to ASTM D 1751 (for compression, extrusion and recovery only).

Typical Uses

Corroboard BI20 is typically used to fill expansion and movement joints in in-situ or pre-cast concrete, particularly on large civil engineering structures such as bridges, tunnels and dams and as protection for waterproofing or epoxy systems.
