Features

Corrocure CSD is a single component, liquid applied, non-degradable, curing and sealing compound based on acrylic resin that dries to form a hard wearing, continuous membrane over new concrete that prevents rapid water loss during the critical early hardening stage, but also penetrates into concrete to seal and dustproof the surface.

Corrocure CSD has up to 90% curing efficiency that improves cement hydration, increasing durability and reducing the chance of plastic shrinkage cracks, whilst providing basic chemical and abrasion resistance in areas subject to low traffic.

Corrocure CSD also has environmental benefits, as no additional water is required to cure the concrete after application, therefore reducing subsequent labour and energy demand compared to continuously curing with water.

Complies to ASTM C 309 Type 1 Class A and Type 2 Class B.

Uses

Corrocure CSD is typically used to cure fresh concrete and provide basic sealing and dust proofing, particularly for large surface areas such as warehouse floors, workshops, or remote site locations. It is particularly useful in hot countries where strong sunlight and winds can dramatically increase the risk of drying shrinkage on all areas of fresh concrete.
